Updating DNS Numbers in Mac OS 9
- Under the Apple Menu, select Control Panels and open the
TCP/IP Control Panel.
- Under Connect Via:, PPP should be selected.
- Under Configure:, Using PPP server should be selected.
- The IP Address, Subnet mask, and Router address
should all be set to <will be supplied by server>.
- Under Name server addr enter the numbers listed in the example
above.
- Close the TCP/IP Control Panel window.
- When exiting this screen, if you have made any changes, you will be
prompted to save the new settings. Click the Save button.
Your system is now configured properly.
